Last few days with the Sapsfords

On Sunday afternoon we went to TGT to sit in the sun. The sprinklers on the field came on and the kids had great fun running through the water.

Kaitlyn and Lauren posing by the sunflowers growing amongst the corn down our street.

On Monday we went to Shanga and ate lunch at the River House for Tom's birthday.

Ricky was staying with us for a couple of days too.

The staff sang Happy Birthday to Tom, and then Jambo Bwana.

  1. Hey!! For some reason, I was looking back at my blog http://seedsinmyheart.blogspot.com - I have no idea why -- but I flipped to an old entry and saw one of your comments and wanted to see if you were still active and found this site --- and are you in Tanzania now?!?!?! That would be sooo cool because we support Tanzania through WorldVision and write letters to 2 children there. What has God done with you all!!?? What's going on????? :)

    1. Hi Randi Jo. Yes, I live in Tanzania now. My husband and I are here establishing a school ( www.ccis-arusha.com ) with a friend. We have been here a year so far. Found a great English speaking church to go to (Vineyard) - one of the members of the home group we attend is the CEO of World Vision Tanzania. Where are the children you write to located? Great to hear from you xxx

  2. God is SOO AMAZING!! :) I love how connected His Church feels!!! :) WOW!!! Can't believe you know the CEO of World Vision Tanzania --- God is just SO COOL how we are all connected so beautifully. Can't wait until heaven when we can see ALL the ways HE was weaving us!! Juma lives in "Kanadi" - I tried to look it up on a map and it looked south of where you all are. Jacklin lives in "Rugu" which looked west of you. But both areas looked close to where you all are in the North Eastern part of Tanzania. I have dreams of taking my children there some day to visit. We will see what the Lord does, of course!! Thanks so much for writing back!! :) Look forward to following your blog again! I really blog very sporadically now. I am a stay at home mom of 3 (ages 7 3 and 1 now) and God has had me a process of just laying everything down and focusing on the obscure routine life of being a wife, mom and neighbor.... for now! :) Who knows what the future holds. God bless you all

    1. Sorry - my tardiness. Yes, the same Jenny you bought the handbag from. I'm glad you got so much use from it!!
It is incredible how we are all linked in God's Kingdom, and it will be amazing to see all of those connections one day when we reach Heaven.
