These are our water tanks outside the house. They service us and the other 2 houses on the property. I originally thought that the water must have been collected from any rain that fell, but have learnt this is not the case.
Water is pumped into a 5000 litres tank underneath the corrugated iron from town once a week. The water is then pumped (when there is enough power) into the tanks above so we can use it - gravity then does all the work.

This is our water filter system. The local water contains a huge amount of fluoride and this system removes it, along with a number of other bugs.
